i-tunes folder move PLEASE HELP

Sooooooooooooooo i had all my i-tunes songs on my computer hardrive but it took up all my space, i've transferred it all to an external harddrive and changed the folder name in preference menu...but every song is now saying that it cant be located. I can then locate it manually and it works

But i have 3000 songs if anyone can help to do this automatically it will save me a massive job

 

You're probably best off highlighting every song in iTunes, removing them (not physically deleting them) and then add again from the new location.
