I will be building a new desktop this year

Are there going to be any bottle necks.

I all ready have a desktop case and a 550 watt power supply more than enough for this build.

 

I'm personally not a big fan of Western Digital. Might be my bad luck, but I've never had anything but problems with them. On the other hand, I have a Seagate drive that's nearly twenty-five years old now, and it still runs just fine.

Don't see any bottle necks, though I would personally use two 8GB sticks, instead of 4x4GB, since the board supports up to 32 total. Always want room for expansion if you can get it.
