I always set my start/home page to blank. On my new computer, even if i set the home page to blank, it still resets to:

    http://toshiba.my.yahoo.com/?src=STAC

    So, i don't consider this a true hacker's hijack but a hijack from Toshiba/yahoo.

Anyone have a link to remove this?

    Thanks.

Heh...have you enabled registry protection with ZAP? If so, it may be preventing you from changing your homepage. Check in its settings for a way to disable it temporarily.

Sorry to butt in, but I have a similar problem. The difference is mine always defaults to update.microsoft.com no matter how many times I set it to majorgeeks.com.
I don't have that ZAP thing you mentioned.

    WIN XP Home Edition; SP2
    IE v.6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.

My apologies to butt in as well, but just wanted to put my 2 cents in. Every once in a while my homepage opens to update.microsoft.com as well, even though I have it set to another website.
