IE 7 won't trust my software

I am running XP and IE 7 on my pc at work. We have a server containing all of our shared software, files, etc. There are 2 programs in particular that I cannot get IE to trust. One is called PhoneSlips, the other is Prosystems Practice. When I try to open the two programs (which I use daily), it gives me an "open file - security warning" saying the publisher could not be verified and asks if I am sure I want to run the program. It is rather annoying.

I have added my server path as a trusted site under Tools, Options, Security, Trusted Sites (I removed the checkmark from the box that says "require server verification (https)..." but that didn't work.

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!:confused

PS: It does this for everybody in the office

It is XP Pro, Version 2002, Service Pack 2.

I am not sure where to look to see what policies are set up. Could you please tell me how to get to it?

    Thanks!
