IE Browser Being Very Irritating.

    For some reason when i go to one of the big search engines and type in what i want to find it usually brings up what i'm looking for and i'll click on one of them. It is supposed to go to that web site but for some reason it goes to some other bs web site. I'll back up and click on it again only to do the same thing a couple more times. It goes to something like hotbot or spotbot something like that. After the 3rd or 4th time it will go to that site that it was supposed to. Now what would be causing this? This is really pi55ing me off. Any input appreciated.

    Do please run the "Read me" in which TimW mentions and post the relevent logs, to summerise,



    - Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

    Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.


    After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:

    Downloading, Installing, and Running HijackThis


    When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too (these scans are covered in steps 6 & 7 of the READ & RUN ME sticky)
    • Bitdefender
    • Panda Scan
    • HijackThis
