    Hello!

I am at a loss here. I think i got the supposed trojan(s) from some alcohol 120% crack my friend recommended to use. Ever since then I've had IE close itself down at random points, Firefox as well. I used to get popups of Usafis.org and freelotto.com for example with relatively big intervals. Ive tried scanning with Hijackthis but my semi-experienced eye doesnt spot anything that Id dare to delete. Im not sure whats happened but now the popups to those websites have disappeared - instead i get a popup of IE every 5 minutes or so that doesnt really open, its minimized but cant be opened. Just before it appears my computer starts lagging. the website address is something like http://ad.1030252.com/ with some code from there on. Also, my windows explorer seems to have slowed down - every time i open a new folder i notice a second long delay before everything is listed and on the screen.

This is my hackthis log -
C:\WINDOWS\system32\1S67i16K.exe is surely the trojan, the date created and name type imply this. I deleted it after terminating the process but its back again. I am not sure how to remove it from registry or which process it could be tied to but there must be some link.

    Please help guys!

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

Please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.

If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.

Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.

READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide

    Note:

    1. If you run into problems trying to run the READ & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode. You can running steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:

Starting your computer in Safe mode

    2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools on another PC and burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.
