IE error msg when trying to open download html files on majorgeeks.com

    i can't access any of the download lists(html files) in the files area on the majorgeeks website.
    IE says it can't open. running IE8 on WinXP

    Can you give an example of the type of file you are trying to download?

    If you are trying to d/l any of the programs listed on the front page, you may have to enable 'Download file' in the IE Information Bar popup.

    not trying to download yet. can't open the html lists like downloads3.html that you get when hitting the backup button under "files".

    The software groups (under FILES on the left-hand side).

    They load fine for me with Firefox and Internet Explorer 6.

    Can you try if the link works from here: http://www.majorgeeks.com/downloads3.html ?
