IE fonts WAY too large..........

    Phone call from friend........she has Dell 2400/XP home/IE 6. Says suddenly fonts are almost as large as sceen. Ask her to try FF and see and she says it is ok there. She adjusted the fonts in tools/internet options/fonts/ No luck. also has set fonts to smallest. Still no luck. Please advise. Thanks

    Hi

    Delete temps and cookies, shoudlnt be the cause but never know, CCleaner is apt for this.


    Try checking in Internet Options > General and the Accessability button that nothing is checked.

    Also while in same menu, click the Advanced tab and at bottom is Restore Defaults, click that, then reboot.


    *checked some notes of mine as long time since using XP, but weird cases with fonts can be cured by setting in Display Properties (right click Desktop and choose Properties) then the Apperance Tab and in the Font Size bot choose large, then Apply, dont close the box but when the font change size then reset in same box the Fonts to Normal > Apply.
