    Hi,
Yesterday, I suddenly (I didn't change any settings or DL anything new) started getting a banner when I try to go to allmusic.com:
"Your security settings do not allow web sites to use Active X controls installed on your computer. This page might not display correctly"

I also started getting (and keep getting) this dialogue box (when clicking on a link):
"When you send info to the internet it might be possible for others to see that info. Do you want to continue? (check box) 'in the future do not show this message?' yes/no

I went into IE tools, Internet Options, Security and set everything back to default. I also went into the 'advanded' tab and restored the defaults.
I also did the above in safe mode w/networking.

Still the banner comes up as well as the persistant dialogue box (after repeatedly checking "yes" and "don't show this message again.

I've scanned with ad-aware, spybot, avg anti-spyware, SuperAntispyware, Windows Malicious software removal. I also used Eusing Free Registry Cleaner. All malware removed.

I'm concerned that this might be symtomatic of something.
    I'm stumped.

Thanks for any help with this!

    Hi bobgure,
    Welcome to the Malware Forum!

Both of these are settings which are listed as prompt in your Internet Explorer security settings. If you click on either disable or enable, you won't get these notifications.

Open Internet Explorer. Go to tools and internet options and click on the security tab. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Custom Level. Check all the entries for the word Prompt and move them to disable.

Go back to the site that is giving you trouble and see if it's still giving you the same flags.

If they stop, then you need to go back through the custom levels list and see which one is causing the warning and set the others to a safe level.

If they don't stop, please continue by going through the instructions in the READ & RUN ME FIRST. For those scans you've already done, you don't need to do them again.
