   Does symantec security check not work with IE7?

   I have XP and IE7
   
   I set up the activex controls
   just as it says to
   
   and I get nuttn?
   
   I cant try it in safe mode for it does not work

   I notice the scan window is a popup, do you have anything that blocks popups?
   
   Do you have Java Installed?

   I run IE7 and it worked for me fine ( couldnt do all the checks mind as it no likeo Vista much ), also lower your Privacy Settings to Medium if not already, IE > Tools > Internet Options > Privacy > Apply
