IEEE 1394 confusion

    Built my first computer the other day:-D, but could not see where to connect the header pin for the IEEE 1394 (I almost made the mistake of plugging into a com port). The Asus site was of no help. Am I to buy an add-on card and is it absolutely essential?

    BTW the mobo is a P5Q SE2.
