if I system restore do I lose downloads done since "then"??

    am in a quandry - need to use system restore but am afraid I'll lose all work and downloads made since last restore point. Is this a fact, or does the data stay put?

    It depend i have seen restore point restore system file and registry and then some i have to re-intsall program and lost save game.....

    Do you have spyware or virus ???

    Hi im afraid so it will delete anything that was not there before but i dont think it will restore deleted files.

    reinstalled MSOrifice and did zero good at all, plus MS orifice is now refusing my product key. Am in deep :crap if I really lose all those addresses and letters....
    BTW, got system restore set to full, rather than only system state - am thinking it should restore everything lost....?

    Cant you get the lters etc off on to a flash drive or something then restore then re-install Office or try Xp Repair it always works for me it sorts out shared .DLL files which i seem to have had a few problems whith on MS Office/works on my pc at work try it it might help you can get it with the crack on torrent sites

    careful with talk of "cracks" here, Biddy = we do not mention illegal acts or piracy on this site. Such things are best PM'ed or IM'ed for reasons of legality/liability.

    well, looks like I got excited over nothing = installed Mozilla Thunderbird and did the import thing = got everything back intact and am breathing easily now!
