When i run my Ad-Aware, AntiVir, Spybot, and CWShredder.....when it finds anything dodgy that needs to be removed.....is it just removing the infection or is it removing the actual file? I mean is there a chance that i could be giving it the ok to remove a file that is real important to my computer?

As well as asking for my own piece of mind i would like to know that when i help anyone else out with this, i'm not deleting anything that will be neccessary to run their system yanno?

    Thanks..

Most of the time they are not removing anything that you need. A virus scan application however may have to delete a file that cannot be fixed. And in some cases these files may be necessary files. In that case you may need to re-install an application. This does not happen that often.
