Incoming webcam recorder

I'm looking for a program that will record incoming video images from an MSN webcam. A friend and I are trying to coordinate some things but live across the country from one another and we need video records of what we're doing.

So far, the only thing I've seen is a program called oRipa Webcam Record. I don't know if it's safe or worth using so I figured I should ask here, I know you guys generally know what you're doing.

So can anybody give me a hand?
