INF files/driver-info please

    i recently formatted my hard drive and instead of using the oem compaq windows disc ...i had to use my bros windows.. its working but i want to get the optimum drivers for every piece of hardware/device..i have an intel motherboard..should i install the latest inf files? please let me know asap...

    nevermind..i installed it and it seems to be working=)..you can delete this thread and the other one if you like...im gonna try to install sp2 now...was wondering if im supposed to download the other critical updates first or after? i guess ill just go for sp2 now..
