Info on a specific problem

I am looking for some information on a certain spyware/virus. I don't know it's name, but it creates a program in the windows\temp directory i do belive, and it loads it as a running process at startup. The filename is completely random, and upon a rename then restart, it creates a new program. It has an icon of a dog, and it won't let you delete it, and each time the process is killed it reloads itself. I've been able to remove this certain program successfully, but it has intrigued me into learning more. I know it's not a CoolWebSearch piece, or if it is, it's pretty new. If anyone could give me more detailed information on it, it would be appreciated. Thanks.

I was just wondering if anyone knew any specific titles and such... not really lookin for solutions. I do side research on spyware for my work, and just wanted to see if anyone could help me identify this type of problem. Again, if anyone could help me out it would be great.

 

I know that the symptoms you described are related to the CashBack Malware, but I cannot remember specific filenames - other than the obvious cashback.exe - off the top of my head. Sorry.
