I have Dell Inspiron 1526 Vista Home Premium - wireless stopped working, no networks found. I can connect via wired and via an AT&T Communicator Manager (it tells me no wireless network adapter). However, when I boot in Safe Mode/Networking the wireless networks appear and I can connect using wireless. Prior to Safe Mode I looked at the device manager and it states devices working properly. Windows also determined that the drivers were OK.

    Any thoughts? Thanks.

One other side issue: while in Safe Mode/Networking tried to change screen resolution from 800 to 1024 but the change did not take.

Someone suggested I create a new user so I created a new user with admin privs, then logged in as that user, logged out, and then logged in with my original account. Now the wireless is working! Magic? or some reasonable explanation of what happened? And also, can I now delete the new user? Thanks!
