I have a Inspiron 8200 with an nVIDIA driver. Slightly to the right of the center of the screen, there is an approx. one inch wide line that runs all the way down the screen. The desktop has a blue background and the line is a darker shade of blue. If an active window is open, the line turns pink. It seems to be activated in some way by the cursor rolling over it, but clicking it with left or right buttons do not open any programs. It doesn't seem to change the way the computer performs - however it is a big annoyance. Any help would be appreciated. I can take a picture with a digital camera, and attach it if needed. Thanks for any help.
