installed vista...no sound or internet drivers?

i did a fresh install of vista from xp and now i have no sound or internet... it says ethernet controller missing and audio media centre or contoller missing. i tried the drivers i had on disk which i installed on xp when i had the same thing happen but it wont let me install them on vista. any ideas?

 

Try going to the computer manufacturer's website to see if they have Vista drivers for your model.

 

cant find any i googled realtek driver etc but not sure which one i need and most i find are for xp not vista

 

i got sound working now
but no internet, everytime i try install drivers etc it says realtek ethernet controller not found if in deep sleep mode plug in

 

What is the make and model of the PC? Most likely you need to install the motherboard chipset drivers.
