Installer\Uninstaller Programs - Any Favorites?

    I am about to have a clean re-install of my OS. In the past, I have used programs such as Total UnInstaller and Absolute UnInstaller to install most of my programs. I had fairly good success at avoiding remnants of programs all over my hard drive and corrupted registry keys. Has anybody out there used a similar program with good results? And how many of you believe in using this method to install your software?
    I like freeware, but I will also pay for good software. I have become a believer in using an installer/uninstaller. ..........Thnxk!!
