I was hoping I could get some feed back on this system I am saving up to build and what you all think of it. Please feel free to pick it apart and suggested various other options if you think better. And one important question, should I invest in Vista or stick to XP, i know XP is not made for DirectX10, so is it worth it in the long run to go with Vista for the future?

    Cheers

Hmmm what you should do is Keep running XP for now Until you find a nice good smooth reason to move to Vista, Geez man you system looks like it cost more then mines but I can not tell Lemme add up what I have spent so far... omfg... Over time and just by luck... I spent $2957.42 dolla for my entire computer... wow thats a lot. I just calculated that out And I am being dead serious too . ANY WAYS, Hawk the Keyboard and the mouse cause thats where you will save money in the end cause I assume you have a working Keyboard and mouse right now... But I feel your system is really nice, but if you are saving and you make slow money you might wanna see what AMD got cooking up cause they got new chips comming for AM2+ and just AM2 :) I think they are quad cores too man But yes its a great setup so far

All seems very nice Scott, Nice CPU cooler too, I have one of those and its pretty quiet, but effective.

and to the question on DX10 and Vista, well if your going to be wanting to play DX10 games then Vista it is.

Thanks guys. Wow you spent loads on your system. I need a new keyboard and mouse though, I am building an entirely new system.

I think it will be awhile till the DX10 games are out and readily available so I will probably stick with XP until then.
