   O.k. troops, I would like someone to help me. I downloaded the "Intel(R) Application Accelerator" and I get an error message that the driver was not detected" How do I get the driver?

   on a lot of chipsets you need to run the inf utility before running the application accelerator

   As the General has stated you may have to install the inf utility. It will do no harm as i have it installed despite the fact i don't need it
