I am having a problem with the internet droping after I have been on it for about 30 minutes and a hour. I still have connection but the browser says it can't connect.

You failed to mention what version of windows and what browser. Have you tried another browser? What are the results with the 2nd browser?

I take it that you meant IE10. Also are you wireless or on an ethernet cable connected to the router ?

    What version of Windows?
Connect by ethernet. Does the same thing happen?

Windows 8. I am going to have to get a long ethernet cord to connect.

At least you will know if it is a hardware or a software problem.
If the ethernet holds the connection, then you start looking at a problem with the wifi device.
If the same thing happens with ethernet then you look to a windows problem.

Since I don't run Windows 8, I'll defer to anyone who does to sort out why the browsers die after 30 minutes both wired and wirelessly.
