I just installed Mozilla Firefox and that browser is working fine except it doesn't work at my banking page. I tried opening ie 6, avant and slim browser and not one of them will open any web page. I uninstalled firefox and they still won't open. I reinstalled firefox and it works fine. I don't have a clue what happened to my other browsers. They open, but won't open any web page. Any ideas?

I'm not familiar with Avant, but Slim Browser uses settings from IE. You likely have some settings in IE that are not correct. Try this:
    1) Open Internet Explorer.
    2) Go to Tools --> Internet Options.
    3) On the General Tab - Click Clear History, Delete Cookies, and Delete Files (check the box beside "Delete All Offline Content".
    4) On the Security Tab - Click Internet, and click the "Default Level" button if possible. Do this on all of the other zones, "Local intranet", "Trusted Sites", etc..
    5) On the Privacy Tab - Click "Default" if possible.
    6) On the Content Tab - Assure Content Advisor is disabled.
    7) On the Connections Tab - Assure "Never Dial A Connection" is selected. Click "LAN Settings" and assure that only "Automatically Detect Settings" is checked. **Settings in here are dependant on your type of connection (ie. school/work network, home broadband network, or a direct connection to the internet).**
    8) On the Advanced Tab - Click "Restore Defaults".

Apply any changes, close IE, and reopen it. Try to access a webpage. If you cannot, consider checking for spyware/adware, or even a browser hi-jack. Try using Ad-aware from

A friend of mine just called about a similar problem this morning.
I had him disable his popup killer and everything was fine after that.

Thanks for the help. I found a fix on a windows doctor site. I had to scan and reinstall ie files and all is fine.
