Internet Explorer odd behavior

Hello:

My IE is acting strange as I have noticed the following when using IE:

I was doing my usual Interent banking and double clicked on my chequing account to open up the item. Well, nothing happened. So I thought maybe it was my bank...but it was not. I also noticed this odd behavior while I was in other pages.

I then opened the banking account in Netscape and it worked fine.

Is it possible that I need to reinstall my IE?

Clear cookies, temp. internet files, and run CCleaner and see if the problem persists.

 

And then switch to Firefox
