for a couple days now my internet hasnt been working and for the life of me i can't think what it is. i have 1mbps broadband and am connected with AOL but it just refuses to connect, even when i use dial up with virgin.net. i have reinstalled AOL and checked that the drivers are working fine but it just doesnt seem to work. sometimes it will connect for about 5 minutes then cut out so whenever i try and repair the connection it say "cannot clear DNS cache".
does anybody know what i can do before i chuck the computer out the window?
    thanks
