i regularly use iobit 360 and cccleaner to clean up my families internet use. my question is when one of these programs "cleans" say a jpg....does it also make 3 or 7 passes over the location to completely erase the picture? thanks for your info.

    Welcome to MajorGeeks, holyrosary

As a user of CCleaner, you can use "Secure Deletion" by -
    • Opening/starting CCleaner
    • Click on "Options" then "Settings"
    • Under the heading "Secure Deletion" tick "Secure file deletion"
    • Then click the <down arrow> to select the number of overwrite passes you wish the program to perform
