invaild cd key

does any1 know why it says invalid cd key after i try to join a mutiplayer game on battlefield vietnam?

 

Well assuming you have a valid version of the game. It very well could be that someone is using your key. I know I know....how would they get it? hmm I am sure you'd be surprised just how easy it is. Anyway.......If you can verify that you payed for your game, you can e-mail EA & get a new key. I have read alot about this very thing on BF boards & it seems that EA will give you a new one, as long as you can show "Proof of Purchase".

fax them a copy of upc or your receipt

Make a copy of your recite and mail, or fax it to EA. Of if it was purchased recently you can do what Unnamed suggested. However, some stores only give you 30-90 days for games and electronics so check to see when you bought it.

I had this same problem when I bought a used multiplayer game from EB. That's a mistake I won't make again.

I had this problem. Did a little research on this a while back on the Battlefield forums and it turned out you had to reenter you key but have capslock ON when you did it. Did it and was back on line in no time. There is a ereg folder in the vietnam folders open that then click on Battlefield Vietnam Code and it will let you enter in you CD key.
