invisible hidden files

hi,

is there a program that can view super hiden files/rootkits ?,

i got my virtual machine infected (on purpose) and after cleaning it out i was left with cssrss.exe in my system32 folder - which i couldn't manually find,
in the end i used blacklight to rename it then it became visable,

There's also several 3rd party process management tools that can be helpful, and tools like Assassin are good for extreme malware cases
