I do not have experience with that printer, but our HP's like original parts. We stopped buying clone parts due to unreliability.
Have you tried cleaning the print head?

I cannot find a link for soaking, soft brushing and inspecting the printer head but sometimes this works. I have tried warm water and a soft toothbrush at times when I could not get a printhead (older printer).

Yes, i tried cleaning it but it did not work. This was why i thought i would get a new Printhead as the Printer is still and good condition and the Scanner is excellent.

You might try a soak in WD40, or just get the print replacement. I would pay the extra for a genuine part.

I tried soaking it in Surgical Spirit but it did no good. This is why i think i need a new head.
