So I remove it and install the secondary back up HD sync the files from the (sick one) and I'm back up running. Now the one in question will not boot up is stuck in endless boot up cycle from the DOS screen, to boot, to windows start up, to split second blue screen and back to DOS, tried the safe mode, safe mode with network, last known configuration and nothing, all is identical one HD works fine and one has hick ups is the HD cooked? ................Thanks Mike
