Is Smadav ("anti-malware") Any Good?

Any ideas? Cause I don't.

Actually I use Avast on all of my devices. But i do still keep MBAM for On-Demand Scanning.

I just heard a couple of people recommending the Anti Malware Software in question. Still doubtful though.

 

You have to beware of people creating a buzz for poor software. It happens.

I also checked av and it isn't listed.

If MajorGeeks doesn't host it, that says a lot.

 

Reading up on it, it's considered a second opinion scanner, but no matter how much research I do on it, I can't find any real proof on if it works, or if it's safe. And like plodr said,

It is not a malware detector; it appears to be an antivirus.

It is from Indonesia and has been around since at least 2013. I found a review written in October 2013.
