Been looking to possibly secure my system a little bit more after 3 of my spyware programs stopped detecting even tracking cookies on manual scans last week.

Was wondering if the firewall present in Windows 7 is sufficient or do I need a 3rd party firewall?

I ran a test that checked on computer security vulnerabilities and I passed every single one.

My current set-up is Nod32 AV, Windows 7 Firewall, Superantispyware, Malwarebytes, Spybot S & D, and Adaware. The 3 spywares that stopped detecting were Superantispyware, Malwarebytes and Adaware.

    Does that look pretty decent?

Edit: I have uninstalled all of them, reinstalled all, but Adaware. Superantispyware detected tracking cookies as did Spybot Search and Destroy, but MalwareBytes still isn't.

I would say that the windows Firewall for Vista and win7 are much better than it was for XP, and for me personally, I only use the windows own firewall for my vista machine but I do have a third party FW for the XP computer.

You could further discuss this in the software section if you like, unless of course you think that malware is present on your machine. If that is the case then you will need to go through the Read and Run Me First procedures.
