   i am currently looking for a small media player that will run in the back ground without taking any real cpu power or using mass amounts of physical memory freeware only (shareware only if it is free)

   I use Spider now as default in place of WMP, Basic is freeware. Never had cause to check how it is on resources though. Fast and small...
