   i have roommates and if i want to have priority for the speed on my computer is that possible to like set my computer ip as to having all the speed, and anyone else that gets on the wireless only gets to use the speed that im not using

   You can get a router with QOS that can prioritize traffic. For instance, give utorrent, ftp, etc low priority, to keep more important tasks running smoothly.
