Is there an equivalent of Adblocker for Opera?

My preferred browser is Opera, but I find it quite frustrating having to put up with ads appearing on the screen. I know Firefox has the Adblocker extension to block them, but is there a program(or Widget) to do this with Opera? :)

I dont use opera but i think it has a popup blocker.

    Tools > Preferences > General > Pop-ups.

    I may be wrong:confused

I have that setting active, but I'm talking more about ads at the side and at the top of screens....

That's the first and foremost reason I use Firefox... because I don't have to see a trillion ads every time I navigate to a web page. It's unfortunate that Opera doesn't have an equivalent add-on (that I've heard of).
