    I came up with:

Reusing XP32 bit (retail from laying around , not Dell) , corsair 400 watt, 4670 video card, and current sata hard drive and DVD burner.

does that sound ok to start going in the right direction?

Later on: purchasing Windows7 64bit first thing. Maybe upgrading GPU and PSU.

I couldn't find anything with a cooler in budget besides a Rena 3 core.

The Radeon 4670 does everything but Crysis worth while currently so I'm not in THAT much of a hurry for the video upgrade and power supply right now. I'm more interested in the Win7 64bit before that.

It seems the DDR3 is fine?
