I have received a message that my computer is infected with the JS/ForcePopup.a trojan. I have tried to quarantine it but it will not allow me to do this. Does anyone know how to get rid of this trojan?

I use my computer for college classes, and the popups make for an even longer time on doing assignments. I would relly appreciate your help.

    Thanks

as a side note... do remember as this PC is critical to your college work to back all important documents up to CD or USB pen as soon as possible, not worth the risk of loosing important files while your PC is possibly working just ok enough to function, with malware it can get worse.

    Hi Thorton,
A hearty welcome form me as well.

In the instructions Halo posted to you, you are requested to run several scans and attach the results from them. The instructions for attaching them are part of the READ & RUN ME. We would like to help you, but can only do this if you provide us the information about your computer that will help and in a form that is useful. For someone who is somewhat proficient with downloading things and installing them, the whole process takes about an hour. If you haven't worked with your computer much, it might take two.

In most cases, people find some relief from the symptoms they're fighting as they work through this set of instructions.

    Thanks.
