Junk Systems: Windows Me & IE

    Help, please: I can't delete IE from my OS(Windows Me)....I guess they're joined at the hip. I'd prefer to use a better browser. Suggestions on replacing either/both would be appreciated. I don't use them for much besides checking mail & research.....thanx :)

    I use FireFox as a browser and keep IE for Windows updates. I still use OE as my primary email client, as it has features that I like, but the newest version of Thunderbird is pretty good and even has a spell checker. I'm sure other members have their own favorites and will offer other choices :)
