Just did a painless upgrade

    Just upgraded my old PIII 800 on a Soltek mb w/512 ram and GF2 MX 32 meg vid card to a AMD Athlon XP 3000+ on an ASUS A7N8X-X nForce2 mb w/512 mb of pc3200 ram and a Radeon 9550 w/256 meg, TV and DVI out.

    Everything went painlessly. As I also changed my Seagate 8 gig HD that had the os on it to a Maxtor Diamondmax Plus 9 80 gig drive, the installation of XP Home and SP2 was fast and simple.

    Put a 400watt PS in also.
