keep minimizing window from focusing last focused window

Is there anyway to keep minimizing from giving focus to the window that had focus before the window that just got minimized did? Looked in taskbar properties (it'd make sense there'd be an option there), but no luck.

Dude, what are you talking about? Your question doesn't make any sense.

 

Let's say I have program a focused. (btw, focused means...err...it has focus...SELECTED, there we go, it's selected). Then I open up program b. I minimize program b, and as soon as that happens, program a is given its focus back (it had focus before program b did).

Make sense now?

 

Download tweakui powertoy navigate to general>focus>check prevent application from stealing focus.

Doesnt' seem to be working. I still see the same behavior, even with the box checked.

 

I beleive if you minimise a window it would lose focus.Tweakui can only stop a program from stealing focus,what you are asking is senseless.I thought you had a minimised window that was stealing focus from your active window,thats why I sugested tweakui.

 

Oh no no no.

I open program a. I then open program b, which now has focus. I minimize program b, and windows automatically gives focus back to program a.

That's what I'm trying to say.

Try that tool,it makes a window translucent.If an inactive window is translucent all clicks will go right through it.It may solve your purpose.
