Kernel32 Error with IE 6.0 Load

    Pentium 700Mhz, 128MB RAM, Win98 PC Home
    Just started getting Kernel32 error when trying to load IE 6.0
    Loads general shell and initial toolbar before blue screen...

    Ran Spybot and Adaware (in Normal mode) just to make sure nothing special was found at a high level w/r/t spyware.
    Searched Microsoft website too, but nothing this specific (that I could find). Tough to download anything without IE!!

    Added note: I downloaded ie6setup from Microsoft site on work PC, transfered over to Win98 home PC, tried to run and also got blue screen of death right away.
