Keyboard freezes mouse with it.

    Hello everyone, I'm a newbie here and this is my problem:

    Keyboard (PS/2) once a single key is pressed freezes mouse and freezes itself [meaning, that even from the boot up, the start of the machine (because I attempted to reformat my computer due to having lots of Trojans and Salities) the keyboard will freeze the entire time with the mouse once any key is pressed], I'm sorry I can't provide you PC specs but it's because of the problem I have here. I have the idea that it's a malware that caused my problem. BTW, it happened after I did this: Attempted to make a System Restore(failure, idk why), after that problem resumed.

    Please tell me what to do here with my problem, any ideas will be very appreciated by me. Thanks.

    Does it behave the same if you boot up in safe mode?

    Did you format it? Or were you unsuccessfull at formatting it.

    Not sure exactly what you mean. The first part of this sentence sounds like the problem started after you tried to do a system restore. But the last part seems to say you already had a problem ( it "resumed" ) so why would you expect it to change since system restore failed to do anything.

    Your next steps depend on whether you can run in safe boot mode or not. At this point, I tend to doubt that your problem is malware. It could be hardware related or a problem with a driver.

    You also should have at least told us what version of Windows you are running.
