keyboard stops working when XP boots up

Hi you guys . The malware forum has told me to post here . Following a malware assault my kb still fails once xp boots . Device manager says drivers loaded but cannot find device. Kb works fine on my other pc its USB and very shiny but it may as well be a pizza. There are some files that I am unable to delete in Sandboxie which is kind of odd. I hope somebody can help the on screen kb is driving me nuts

 

Try deleting it from the device manager then reboot it may pick it back up.

Have you checked if Legacy USB Support is enabled in the BIOS?
Have you tried the keyboard in a different USB port?

Device manager says error code 41 is that any help?

Sorry chap that didn't work . Also you have to pay for it and it is reported on as a potentialy unwanted program Need more help please .

 

This was eventually fixed by editing` the keyboard registry filter . Thanks to Bleepingcomputer.

 

What is a keyboard registry filter?
Does it have something to do with this?
