LAMP Server.

    Hey guys,
    I'm currently sitting on the fence of setting up a LAMP server at home for my Blog, and was wondering. What OS would you suggest for it? I was thinking Ubuntu Desktop Edition (9.04) and then just installing all the preresequites from there. Also, was thinking of possibly installing drupal as a CMS.

    What does everyone think? and what do you use to host your own Web Servers/FTP?

    Here we lease servers remotely, its cost effective, but given the choice, Ubuntu would be my bet. Our server geek has a forum at linuxcompatible.com that might have some Linux nerds with different thoughts.
