Language setting change on XP operating system

    I need help restoring my audio on my XP system desktop. I lost the audio after a spyware invasion. I also need help to change the language setting on the XP system from french to English please.

    control panel,regional&language options ,on the opening page...you cant miss it

    for sound,...control panel,sounds&audio devices,advanced,vol control,set half way,...wave,sw synth,cd player,..all the way up,...line in,half way up.
