I have an IBM 600E laptop running Windows 98. After trying to upgrade to 98 second edition it crashed and would not boot into Windows. I managed to start it in SafeMode and ran a program called ConfigSafe to take it back to a previous configuration. It now boots into Windows and everything works except it will only recognize the PCMCIA ethernet card if it is inserted into the computer before it boots up. If I try to insert it after Windows is running or remove and reinsert it the computer does not know it's there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    lpenn
