Laptop function keys not working anymore

I have a Toshiba R700 Portege notebook.

I messed around in startup of msconfig to try clean up a little. After that the function keys stopped working. I've enabled all again to start a process of elimination but even with all enabled, it still doesn't work.

Can someone help please?

Maybe a reload of your keyboard utility is in order. We need to know your operating system and Service Pack #, and the specific model # of your machine - or, you can plug in your specs at Toshiba and find the correct driver(s).

 

Thanks sorry for missing vital details... it's Windows 7 Pro, don't know which service pack. I looked in 'systems' but doesn't mention service pack. Model number is R700-S1320.

 

Try this: download and install this Toshiba Value Added Package. The file should include any specific function key drivers for your model.

Let us know the results - there may be other steps we can try.

 

I don't know what happened, I just posted a few minutes ago. It's fixed. I downloaded that and reinstalled it. Thanks for replying again!
