    Just recently purchased a Toshiba laptop for $2890.00 (australian) so I'm wondering if it was a good buy and if there's anything to enhance it. The specs are bellow.

    Hmm I didn't think so.. I might have to go back and see if I can exchange it. It is only a few days old anyway. Another question, desregarding the money part is the laptop overall good and what would you suggest in that price range if it can be exchanged?

    ...and several hundred dollars cheaper.

    Hey, we all make mistakes. I paid 2500 for my Apple powerbook, only a month later for better models to come out, at the same exact price. Now, not even 6 months later, there is an Intel based apple, thats several times faster than my current model, better video, and built in webcam for the same price.

    I love Apple, but I feel pretty bent over on the price.

    Toshiba is not a bad machine I use 3 myself for work and they have been dropped, stepped on ect ect generally take alot of abuse but that price is pretty steep do some online research and atleast you will be familiar with machine specs and price ranges then shop the next time around atleast you will know if someone is stickin'it to you:eek: :eek:
