    Looking here http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.....do?service=UK&PRODUCT_ID=151271&DISC_MODEL=1
1.You have the maximum RAM the laptop supports.
    2. Video in laptops is rarely changeable because it is a chip soldered on the motherboard, rather than a card you can remove.
    3. I have two of these http://www.targus.com/us/productdet...d=12&bucketTypeId=0&searchedTerms=&navlevel1=
The mats do not steal one of my USB ports. There are crystals inside and the crystal absorb the heat and turn into a gel.

I can't help with cpu - not my area at all.

I'd also like to inquire, why do you feel the need to replace the harddrive?

Not really much point in replacing the cpu as it's already a dual core, and getting one with a higher clock speed would need more sufficient cooling which would require some fairly serious modding. As Plodr says it looks like you cannot add anymore ram than you already have. You can easily upgrade the hard drive, just select any 2.5" sata drive. If you want some serious speed and are not to concerned about cost or capacity then consider an SSD (Solid State Drive). No point in upgrading the fans, just buy a can of air and blast the dust out to get some better airflow.

I can't comment on the cool pad as i have never used one.

Hi, I use this cooler.... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/AKASA-LAPTOP-...Computing_LaptopAccess_RL&hash=item5641f648d7 ....it draws its power via the usb port and it has three usb 2.0 ports built in, so you lose 1 port on your laptop but gain 2 with the cooler, it is twin fanned and is excellent at keeping my laptop cool.
As for the SSD it should just plug straight into the existing bay an your laptop.

The ones with the fans might cool better. I have no way to compare because I use a pad with both my netbook and my laptop. I did not want to lose a USB port (my laptop only has two) and I also didn't want extra noise from fans so that's why I went with the pad.
